Research
Mentored independent research: finding a real question, reading the literature, designing a method and presenting a result, whether as a paper, a poster or a competition entry.
What we cover
- Finding a research question
- Literature review
- Methods and data
- Writing and presenting
- Science fair preparation
Grades 9–12. Online, one-to-one.
How it works
- 01
Diagnostic
We start by finding exactly where the student is, not where the course assumes they are.
- 02
Written plan
Goals, session cadence and the skills to build, shared with the family.
- 03
Instruction and practice
One-to-one sessions that teach the underlying idea, with practice sized to get done.
- 04
Measured progress
Progress checked against the plan, and the plan adjusted when the evidence changes.
